Well, on this evening we did quite a few different things. First of all, some big tools were cleared out. The the night was spent sweeping and organizing. Some insulation was put in and more rock was put on the fireplace. The framed wall you see behind the 'kitchen counter' was put up, that will separate the bathroom from the living space. Now the space looks much less cluttered and obstructed, but there's still plenty to do before living here!

It's really cool. I'm glad you didn't install fake-looking brick or the like!
I'm just now noticing this comment almost a month later. We bought it used from some man who removed it from some public place in Omaha. Some old horse race place or something. It is fake, but I don't think we have found two alike pieces yet, it's very random looking, and real looking.
