making wide open spaces

the pictures below with the "goo" on the walls are the living and dining rooms after the ugly dark paneling was removed. it looks much bigger now which is hard to tell from the pictures.

this large photo above is taken from the corner of the area that was unfinished upstairs, the attic. the window that you see was the pink room. this space was the area that was filled with clothes, toys, shoes, a little furniture, a couple of baby cribs, and a myriad of just junk that looked to be just slung in there. boy was I relieved to get through that. It was added to the pile in front of the garage, so it's really not 'gone', but it will be soon enough. for now we will continue to concentrate on the inside of the house.
